A QUEST FOR BEAUTY
To my way of thinking, FINE ART is something people relate to, that turns heads and, maybe brings a smile. For me, it's meant a lifetime of passionate pursuit, pushing the limits to make things better. Sometimes I work with pencil and brush. Other times I use camera and computer. But the goal is to find the balance of form and color that brings people back for more. Perhaps it's a color portrait of a little girl, or a dramatic shot of a thunderhead or, maybe a logo design that somehow 'nails it.' One of my magazine projects took first place honors in a very competitive national competition - yet, wasn't all that great in my eye. I certainly appreciate the honor, but wonder what, exactly, the judges saw. Clearly beauty, to some extent, is still in the eye of the beholder.
The collection below represents a random sampling from the many projects I've done during the last decade or so. I hope enjoy them. To see more, visit my website kestrelgraphicdesign.com Or, give me a call - 520-237-0716
